Bubu Baby was born from one of the most defining moments of my life ,becoming a mom.
As a young Black South African mom, I stepped into motherhood with so much love, intention, and a deep desire to give my baby the very best. I was looking for beautiful, soft, meaningful pieces… things that felt special, not just ordinary.
But I struggled to find them.
I wanted quality. I wanted aesthetics. I wanted keepsakes I could hold onto long after the newborn stage and they just weren’t easy to find.
So I started sourcing them myself.
What began as a personal journey quickly became something bigger. Because I knew I couldn’t be the only mom feeling this way wanting more for her baby, while navigating this new chapter of life.
